Why
I love it: Joburg winter weather is fickle, when I leave for work the weather
can be freezing or 1 or 2 degrees above. 4 hours later, in my very sunny
office, the temperature is well into the 20s and I am dying. This dress is
cotton, so the right layering with it means I can cope with the “extremes” of
our winter weather. I would usually wear a cami under this for work. The shoes
are a new addition but they are second hand. I like the retro look. The bag is one of my more expensive but more
useful vintage finds. It is rare to find a vintage bag that can cope with the
amount of junk we carry around in the modern age. This is a really useful size
and I love the play between the hard shape and slick finish of the bag and the “organic”
look of the bamboo handle.
