Why I love it: Johann
Wolfgang von Goethe's "Theory of Colour", was a founding study of colour ~ in
particular the contrast between complementary or opposing hues. Tangerine and turquoise are a very summery example of this. Being such a bold combination, though, ratio is crucial
to avoid undesirable optical illusions, as learned from Johannes
Itten ~ one of the first people to define and identify strategies for
successful color combinations.
